This course is designed to familiarize participants with an understanding of how to apply for tax-exempt status. It is not intended to provide legal or financial advice to participants. Participants will be referred to legal and accounting resources to assist should they decide to make a formal application for non-profit tax-exempt status.  Fee: $50.00
 
Facilitator: Ms. Linda Waters Richardson, President of the Uptown Entertainment & Development Corporation (UEDC, Inc.), owners of the Uptown Theater, has been working on community development projects for most of her professional career. She has been a grant-maker and community organizer. She has a Master's in Science from New Hampshire University.
