It's time to start advocating! Hello! My name is Meg Hayden. I'm the founder of Process This, a new platform that enables students with learning differences communicate their academic needs and feelings to parents and teachers. We are testing the platform! We need your help!
High school and college students can sign up as well as adults who need support! We will be testing the technology for 2 weeks from Jan 16- Jan 27. Please fill out this survey if you want to participate! The pilot would consist of: - Short intake and exit surveys and interviews with parents and students to get an understanding of the current situation to see if and how much the technology works to increase communication and improve sense of self. - Student will answer 6 questions about how they feel and what they are struggling with on Tuesday and Thursday each week. - Student will receive emails with: 1) Summary of the survey, 2) Individualized strategy 3) Email template 4) Positive Affirmation - Parents will receive an email with: 1) Individualized strategy 2) Positive Affirmation The two goals of the technology is for students to express themselves and to increase communication.
We believe there will be improvements in:
1) grades
2) sense of belonging
3) self-advocacy skills.
